Consider filling DEF tank on Sunday going against truck traffic - traffic is light.

We just got back from a 6,000 mile trip and I had to fill the DEF Tank twice, both times against the truck traffic on light days.

Hello, All!
Well, we just pulled the trigger on a new 2014 33.2 Palazzo. Look forward to reading ALL the posts on problems, solutions, and suggestions on this coach.
We saw the Palazzo at the GoodSam Rally in Atlanta. At the time we weren't seriously considering a trade, but with a quick walk-thru we weren't really aware of all the great features of the Palazzo... seems to be a lot of value for the money. We currently have a 2013 Forest River Solera on a Sprinter chassis - a 24 footer! DW retired back in September, and we're now taking longer trips, and find that it's just not big enough for extended trips.
Taking delivery of the Palazzo Dec 27th. It's currently in Savannah Ga, and we'll be going down to pick it up. We'll camp at the dealer's a couple nights, and then head back home. Hope this'll give us a chance to find any problems/adjustments that need to be made.
Looking forward to being on the Palazzo forums!

Thanks for the heads up! They won't complete the paperwork and start the warranty with Thor until I actually take possession. I guess it'll be a while after that 'til I get the info on the Diesel Club. Had a DP in the past - old technology - and I suspect I'll have a lot to learn this time around.

Since you had a DP before you are way ahead of me.
You can download the manuals to start getting ready as well as reading all the Palazzo related posts. Well, the helpful ones anyway.
Safe travels.

I hope you enjoy your Tiffin but I am a bit curious why, all of a sudden, you found it necessary to post on the Palazzo thread to slam the Palazzo? I did not recognize your name so I looked back at your past posts and most of your activity was discussing the Tiffin.
The Palazzo is my second Thor product and I would buy another if I was in the market! Thor is a good company and they stand behind their product.
Again, enjoy your Tiffin and Happy RVing!

I agree too.
When you read back through this post I can see why a new buyer might get cold feet. I almost did, but I kept reading about Thor standing behind there product and I followed through. I am very glad we did. We have had no serious problems and we love our Palazzo.
For new potential buyers, if you haven't noticed the problems have radically slowed down. Thor seems to have worked the bugs out of a new model and there are a lot of satisfied Palazzo owners on this forum.

The Palazzo is not only a new model but it's one of the fastest selling DP's on the market today. If you're selling that many units and a problem pops up, naturally it will be wide spread. The slide issue was corrected at the factory shortly after the issue arose but by then their were a lot of them on the road! Thor has stepped up with not only addressing the issue immediately on the manufacturing floor but has also been upgrading the slides with the heavy duty slides with no questions asked.
There is a reason Thor is one of the largest manufacturers of recreational vehicles on the road today, they have a great reputation! I'm on my third Thor motor home.
