2020 Outdoors RV Wallowa Lake Summer Campout
Hi - just wondering if anyone on the forum is attending this year (End June) and/or has attended before. Was going to make reservations, but looks like I might be too late?

There are always cancellations. You have probably already checked with Park at the River and Wallowa State Park. Hope you can sort it out. We have never missed one but might have to this year.

Yep, Cannon, Rascal and me will be there. Get on the cancel list as they go through it every year.

We're planning to attend with our new 280KVS. Booked our spot as soon as reservations opened up at the State Park.

The only thing that keeps me from moving on to a Newell is the great Rally we have.

We’ll be there at the state park like usual. I’d suggest getting on the Park at the River waitlist and checking the state park website regularly for cancellations. It’s surprising how many people end up getting something in time.

Bondi19, as others have suggested, call now and get on the standby list for cancellations. Unless something drastic happens, we are planning on making the trek from Calgary Alberta, to meet friends we made on our last trip to Joseph Lake (2018).
Anyway, I called down and left a message with the folks at Park on the River campground and they called back with a site for us. They indicated that we were first on their standby list and thus garnered a spot, so you shouldn't have a problem getting a spot either. I'm just hoping I got a spot close to the 'BC LAC' guy from Kamble-oops, so we can tell funny stories about our neighbours (notice the proper spelling! ;-) ) south of the 49th.
The State Park campground is close by too and probably affords more space per site and differently type of amenities, but it's all fun. The State Park can be booked online, of course.
Look forward to seeing you there.
Cheers
Glen

The "BC-LAC Guy" is the Founder of the "Meet and Greet" event. An occasion not to be missed. Hopefully the Founder (and his bride) will be there again to welcome all!

You may be an ARSCE Trophy Winner
For those attending the Campout you have an opportunity of a lifetime, to win the only ARSCE TROPHY in the world. This is an honour that is only bestowed on a fortunate one.
Created, designed and hand built by the one and only Mr. Wonderful in his private workshop in downtown Pascoe.
After eating a great lunch, you will get heartburn if you win this beauty.
Words cannot describe the simplicity of motion of the bubbles, as well as the sound of bubbles that echoes through the valley over the laughter of the few unlucky ones.
I have been told from from past winners that having this prize in their possession has dramatically changed their life for every.
Good Luck and keep smiling....and may the ARSCE be with you.
Coops

Well Mr. Lac, you are very modest. To set the record quasi-straight, Mr. Coops conceived the conception (!) of the original trophy, designed and fabricated the first model from the finest Canadian raw materials, all recyled to conserve the world's finest natural resourses. After its first life as a ORV Campout golf trophy, the award was repurposed from its original status to serve a higher purpose. I had the honor (honour) of being selected by Mr. Coops to do a slight refurbishment of the award with a license to make minor modifications and enhancements as appropriate for its new, expanded and loftier purpose. I endeavored to do so but only with significant suggestions from Mr. Coops.
So to all who have endured this conversation, we hope to see you at the 2020 Campout and may you receive the winning blessings of the ARSCE Dieties.
Mr. Wonderful

As a past winner, I'll enjoy lunch much more knowing I won't be able to have that honor bestowed on me again.

Hutch, I'm so sad for you. But then again that year of "winnership" involved tremendous responsibilty, and yet I am sure, considerable personal joy. But then again you are now in a very select and esteemed cohort that brings great credit to you, your immediate family and your descendants.
Mr. W
