Not to sound like a whiner right off the bat, but is there a place in the giant event that is more or less a generator free zone?

In our experience, most people don’t run their generators after 10pm. But I don’t know how many people in our group will need to use a generator and I don’t know about surrounding campers that might also be in the area. I’m sure there are other more remote BLM places in the Quartzsite area that you could get to, since a lot of the BLM camp areas go pretty far out.

We are in Quartzsite now and are putting together more info for the event to post on the Facebook event group. But our idea is to have everyone camped close to each other off of Plomosa Road. Plomosa is paved and easy to find on gps for people who haven’t been to the area before. It will be a laid back time, where the days are open for people to explore the big rv show/huge swap meet (which is the main reason most people are coming), go hiking, off roading, seeing the sights etc. and the evenings we will have potlucks, campfires, a few theme nights and some activities. It’s just meant to be a fun time getting other ORV owners together for a camp out in the desert during the Quartzsite show. We are going to block off as much space as we can, so we all can be in a group next to each other. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any other questions!

Here is the Campendium link for Plomosa Road. Looks like a good location if we can get enough spots for everyone.

Yes it’s a great spot. We just left there after spending a few days gathering photos and information to post to the groups about the area. We have always enjoyed camping in this area and looking forward to the event next month.

Quartzite 2023
I was unable to attend Quartzite 2022, but have plans on attending the 2023 event. Do you think you'll be boon-docking again? My brother and I both have Outdoors trailers and would enjoy hanging with other Outdoors owners.
