Keep trying. As the date gets closer, spots will open up. That's what happens every year. Also keep an eye on the Outdoors RV Owners Facebook Group.

Well, I'm not a Facebook guy so that's out, and we're on a cancellation list with Park on the River and even Wallola State Park so we'll just be patient!

The Outdoors RV Summer Campout at Wallowa Lake is fast approaching (June 24-25)! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone there. To help us get to know each other I'm creating a map that I can share with you all that shows who's parked where. If you would like to be included on this map please respond with a private message to me with your name(s), site number, and trailer year/model. I can also list the folks camping at Wallowa Lake State Park and other campgrounds. I'll try to have maps ready when the festivities begin on Friday. We'll be in site #7, so stop by to say "hi"!

Rally workings...

We will be tqking delivery of a 23DBS in December or January and have looked at the idea of attending a West Coast Rally. I see there are a few different campgrounds for people to camp at for the rally. We have stayed at, and like, Wallowa state park, but I'm wondering does everyone come together at one of the campgrounds? At some specific location in the campground if so? Anyway, just wondering how it all works and how many different "events" take place during the rally?
Thanks.

Hello Hammster,
Congrats on the new trailer! Here's hoping you love it and you rack up a lot of miles of adventures with it.

We have attended every one of the factory-sponsored campouts since they started them (except the second one and could not make the 2 spontaneous ones during Covid) - they have definitely been worth the time and a lot of fun meeting and sharing experiences with everyone. The first one had 9 trailers... it's a bit bigger now...LOL

We have always stayed at the state park. Our normal camping is boondocking anyway, so we do not worry about hook ups. There are a LOT of us there, and informal groups gather all weekend. It's an easy walk, bike ride, or ATV ride up to the Park for the lunch and any other gatherings. Plus getting a space at the Park On The River is not easy. We have just ensured we get on the state part website and set up our reservation on the first day you can make reservations (I don't remember if that is 6 or 9 months before your date).

Enjoy your new trailer and maybe we'll meet at next year's event.

The festivities mostly happen at Park At The River. If you think you can attend, get on their waiting list now. Many sites often open up due to folks cancelling.

Look forward to seeing you there!

We are about 3 months out to the rally so a bit of time to go yet.
Here is a quote from the ORV website about the rally.

"Est Relaxing Schedule of Events**

**Schedule subject to change – will be announced closer to the camp dates**"

Guess we aren't close enough to know what the schedule of events is yet.

And a link to the campout page on ORV website.

We'll be at the state park and, as relatively new ORV owners, we're really looking forward to the event!
