The ORV East Rally 2023 is now reserved for September 14 -18 at the Charlie Brown Campground in Eastford, Connecticut. We have 30 sites reserved around 3 pavilions at a rate of $65.25 per night. Each of these sites contains electricity, water and grey water sewer. The electric hookups are a mix of 30/50 amp so please specify when booking if you have a preference.

The campground offices re-open early March and will be fully staffed to accept reservations after March 15 at (860) 974-0142. Until then, you can surf their website at charliebrowncampground.com. We have had our ORV for just about a year this week and the Charlie Brown Campground was our shakedown / practice trip. We loved the campground and the pavilions offer a great group camping experience.

This year we have a theme - Retro Games and are looking forward to hosting a fun weekend. More details to come.

Oh no. This is the same weekend as the Hershey show and we already booked it. We were going to try to make an east coast rally since we have never met any other ORV owners in NJ too.

Thank you, Karen and Jeff, for stepping up to host this year's rally!

Although we'd love to see everyone, we're fully booked for the year, including that weekend in September.

The Charlie Brown Campground has a new reservation portal for group reservations. The only issue is that when making a reservation, once you pick the site, your reservation will be for the 4 nights from September 14 - 18. We are working on a work around for those who do not want to book all 4 nights, or for those who want to book in earlier or later.

The discounted sites are those 28 sites around the pavilion. There are other sites held under our reservation which are not on the pavilions, but are not at the group discounted rate.

If you want to book other than the 4 nights, please let me know and I will have Chris from Charlie Brown Campsites reach out to you separately.

If you look at the campground map, the field across from the large pavilion is where we will host our retro-games and other fun activities - more to come!

Event planning is underway, for those planning to attend, the games begin now!

The first is a photo contest with 2 categories:

Most rugged campsite - show where you stayed where only an ORV could go
Funniest family photo - all families welcome even if your family is just you and your dog!

As you are camping in the coming months, capture those photos. We will collect them closer to the rally and have a screen in the pavilion running them on a loop so all can vote for the winners.

Thank you for taking on this year's rally. It's hard work at times, but rewarding when it happens!

As for us, we have already booked a trip that will conflict with the rally, so we won't be attending. I'm sure that we can follow the activities on social media and IRV2.
