Lisa and I will be attending the brunch and the pot luck. We haven't thought that far ahead for brunch (we'll figure something out). For the potluck we'll be doing a dutch oven cobbler.

Route 58

Wondering if anyone is familiar with Rte 58 in VA? Mostly wondering if it is more a 2 lane road or 4 lane road? Mountain passes, lots of hairpin turns, etc? We live in the WY mountains so don't fear driving good mtn roads just don't want to do if it's not a great road to be pulling a trailer.

Rt 58 through VA

Hello Kay and I live a few miles from the eastern end of US 58 and travel west on it serval times a year. From Norfolk to Martinsville it is 4 lane. After that take caution, but we travel with a ORV 22FQS. BTW we read that u were cancelling your spot at the East Coast Rally. Hope you guys are OK. We would love to snag that spot, let us know when you cancel. Please...

Thanks for the info on rte 58, will keep that in mind for future reference. We live in the mountains of WY so not really to afraid, just like to be somewhat aware of what to expect.

will give you a call once I cancel it. 307.250.xxxx will be the #. I had tried to post that we were needing to cancel earlier here today and the site kept kicking me out!

Free to a good home

Hi all,
We recently bid farewell to our long time buddy Fritz.

I built a folding ramp, which allowed him to maneuver up and down the steps of our trailer with relative ease, and I would like to find someone who could put it to good use. I will bring it to the rally if interested.

Since I'm not too bright, I can't seem to post a picture of it here, but would be happy to send pics via email, or text. If interested, please send me a PM & I'll hop right on it.

Thanks.

I'm sorry for your loss, Ken. Anyone who has ever loved a pet knows they're members of the family. I'll bet you have some wonderful memories.

We do. Fritz was a well travelled dog.
He went with us to the southwest on our first trip with our first trailer (6 months). Then we bought our ORV & went from Thompson's straight to Alaska. Next was to Key West, & another trip to Newfoundland, with several jaunts to Middle America, and the northeast to several rallies.
He was surely loved, especially by Vicki, and me as well.
It will be strange for him to not be physically with us.

Bagels Brunch

Kenny & Kay - someone else is bringing bagels as well, so you should be able to cut down on the number of bagels you are planning to bring. As of today, we have 36 people signed up for the brunch.
