In Texas now
We were in east Tennessee in the path of the storm but decided to skedaddle early.

Can everyone who attended reply and let us know if you are okay. If you were in or traveled through the hurricane impact area, let us know how you made out.
For example, Diane & I went south to Aiken, SC and did some prep work for my brother and his wife a couple days before the storm. No one expected it to be so bad when it did hit. They are okay, but there are few trees left in his part of town, and power is still out in some areas.
We went south to Dothan AL on Wednesday, the day before landfall, to help my son and his family get ready, intending to take some or all of them west with us in the ORV to get out of the path of Helene. Fortunately in this location, the storm missed by 40 miles.
On Tuesday after the storm we drove home to PA via 85, 77, 81. There was a lot of evidence of the damage from this storm, 500 miles from the coast!
Please let us know how you are. Thanks.

We are marking ourselves "safe", in Greenville, SC. Lots if trees down in this area, none on our property.
No power for 6 days, our Internet and cable TV are still down.
Our biggest problem was purchasing ethanol free gas for our generator.
Thank you for thinking of us.

Happy to hear everyone is well and hope those with no power get it soon. Praying for the folks in Florida, hoping the storm isn't that bad.
If anyone needs anything please post it here so we all can help
Thanks to all for another wonderful rally, hope to see everyone next year!

We arrived back in Wisconsin on Wednesday, 9-25 and have been following the storm(s) coverage on the weather channels...we are concerned for our ORV friends living/traveling in the SE and appreciate all of the updates.
