Yes, a warm welcome to both the forum and the ORV owners group! In no way did you crash the party - and so lucky for you that the Rally is in your neck of the woods! We'll look forward to meeting you in September - we have an amazing turnout again this year.
I know you listed your arrival and departure dates, as well as your site number, but please provide first names of anyone attending so that the next time the list of attendees is updated we can note your complete information. Thank you!
If you have time in your schedule when you pick up your trailer this summer, do consider stopping in La Grande for a factory tour. The factory is about an hour southeast of Pendleton, and you'll probably be driving right through La Grande anyway. The tour is a great experience! If you're interested, I'd suggest checking in with Shannon Roberts (541.624.5500 or shannon.roberts@outdoorsrvmfg.com) beforehand; I think the tours may only be offered on certain days/times.
Enjoy your summer adventure and we'll see you at the Rally!

And speaking of Virginia, I saw that the East Coast rally is at Pocahontas State Park. At the risk of crashing the party, I went ahead and made reservations for the closest site I could find to the group, #123, from 9/18 - 9/24. I hope ya'll don't mind. If you haven't been to Pocahontas, it's a really nice park. Bring a kayak if you have one. I camped there with my kids several times, when they were still kids.
I look forward to getting as many tips and words of wisdom you are willing to give.

Where in Virginia? We're just north of Cville and drove to OR a year ago to pick up our new 25RDS-T. In fact, tomorrow May 18 is exactly the day we picked it up. It's hard to believe that it's been a full year. We look forward to meeting you.

PS, you will enjoy the experience at TRV. They are a great family and take pride in their work.

Thanks for the Welcome!
Thanks for making me feel at home here. I'm just learning how to navigate the forum platform. So, please excuse any stupid mistakes I might make as I try to find and create posts. I feel like a second-grader trying to use a table of contents and index for the first time.
My name is Cori. I travel with my dog, Sig (and his pocket-sized namesake). I'm in the process of selling most of my worldly goods and driving off into the sunset for as long as my health and funds allow.
Mary, thanks for the factory tour tip. I had contacted Sharon a few weeks ago and will be going for my tour July 11th. I also learned that I'll be in Pendleton during the Pendleton Whisky Music Fest. God help me!
See ya'll soon!

I'm on the Eastern Shore between the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean. It's that tiny peninsula of land that's not connected and often omitted from Virginia Maps. I drove right through Cville a few weeks ago on my way to GW/Jeff NF to tent camp.

Hopefully you will be able to stay a few days in the camper near Thompsons to see if any bugs turn up so they can easily correct them for you. One of mine is the oven wont stay lit once it hits the selected temperature. Things like that. Just try to operate everything so they can correct it if needed. Fingers crossed you have zero issues and safe travels.

Thanks for the advice! I'm staying 2 nights in TRV's lot, moving to the KOA for 2 nights and the next 3 at nearby-ish Wallowa Lake before heading east. So, hopefully that's enough time to notice any problems, especially since my nearest ORV dealer is about 7 hrs away!

I wish our ORV dealer was only seven hours away.
I agree with Bob about giving your rig time for a shakedown, and it sounds like you have a good plan in place. Now, will one of you Virginians please identify "Cville" for us non-Virginians?
Enjoy your tour and your trip, Cori, and we'll see you at the Rally in September. Safe travels!

Not a Virginian, but I read "Cville" as Charlottesville.

Ah, Charlottesville. Would not have come up with that. Thanks, Ken - looking forward to finally meeting you and Vicki at this year's rally!

My bad. It's painful spelling out Charlottesville all the time, thus the Cville for us locals.

I understand completely, Mike. For that same reason, our family's five syllable favorite camping spot is simply referred to as "the lake."
A good day to all!

Yes, us too. We've been narrowly missing each other for a few years.

Greetings East Coast Ralliers,
Hopefully, you won't mind me crashing the party. I reserved #104. I joined iRV2 forum last August to keep tabs on Northwood and ORV posts. Considering no-slide models of both, but mostly settled on the 20BD floor plan. Glad to see a couple of 20BDs will be at Poca – shorthand for us locals.
For those of you who like to ride the trails, this park is a destination for all levels of riders. The woodland terrain is flat to gently rolling. There are also well-curated MTB trails. Bring your trail bikes if you have ‘em.
Will gladly answer questions folks who are planning Richmond side trips might have.
Stephen

Stephen, you and Mary Ann will not be the first prospective ORV owners to "crash the party" to see the rigs and talk to current owners. Alan and I are your neighbors in 105, and we'll look forward to meeting you. Please post your arrival and departure dates so that the next time the list of attendees is updated all of your details will be available. Thank you!
We, too, followed the ORV owners group when we were researching our current trailer, and gleaned a good deal of helpful intel from it. Good luck with your continuing research and eventual decision!
With thanks for the additional info on the park,
Mary
