Looks like the water storage is forward of the trailer axles? I'm looking at a 23KTS and need to travel with full water. Would be nice if it didn't increase the tongue weight a ton... Can't have sway either/too much weight back. Anyone know where the water storage is on a 23KTS? And black and gray tanks, are these further back? Be nice to move some weight back as I use the fresh water, thanks.

Kind of hard to design a TT with constant tongue weights. Some have 4 batteries and some have one. Some fill fresh water and some travel empty. If you don't have enough tongue weight, you'll know it,,,LOL.

The gvwr of my rig is 6200lbs. I did a fair amount of research on 20fq gvwr ratings from the early ones like mine to the last year they made them. The rating climbed to 6900lbs. The difference was C-rated tires vs E-rated tires. Understand that I cannot recommend anyone follow my example, but I went to E-rated tires and load a little fatter than the 6200lb gvwr. I’ve found this little guy tows a little better since I updated from two six volt GC batteries to four. Again, this me knowing and being comfortable with my rig and not a recommendation.

The way mine is loaded now is a great ride. And one thing about a 20fq, there’s not many options for manipulating your cargo weight front to back. Kind of is what it is.

Kitchen is mid ship. Sixty gallon water is front. Propane. Four six volts. That’s the culprit. She’s a sweet ride like it is.

Although you went to 'E' tries....what are the axles rated for?
What is the spring pack rated for?
1200 tongue/6200 GVWR-----almost 20% Ratio
1200 tongue/6900 GVWR ----17% ratio

Changing tires does Not change axle/spring ratings

I have the same axles and a 7500 gross weight rating. Not sure of the spring pack but axles and wheels are the same.

I did a pretty good amount of research regarding this. The parts dept at ORV said the first 20fq left the factory with the same spring pack as the las 20fq. Is your rig a 20fq?

I would consider hanging a generator off the back just to ease the tongue weight a bit.
