Another Zamp solar port ?

I bought a Renogy 200w suitcase solar panel. It works great when I use the battery clamps. To make it easier to connect ,I bought a Lamp solar plug and installed it. I know the polarity is reversed on them and have the adapter . I also bought the new connector to change it to SAE. I hooked the positive (red) wire to the positive terminal of one battery, with a 20 amp inline fuse and the black wire to the negative terminal of the 2nd battery. (2 12 volt batteries in parallel).
Now I get a flashing error code b01 ,which mean not connect to the battery ,when I plug into the the solar plug. What the heck am I over looking. Thank you for any help

I have almost that same set up and have experienced that same error. What I find is that the adapter right at tge RV isn't seated completely. If I support the whole thing and press it in the panels detect the battery. If I let it sag, error again. I haven't tried to fix it, not sure how you could, so I just use the battery clamps instead.
