City water inlet replacement

I need to replace the city water inlet on my TT. When I remove the original what is the connection to the trailer plumbing and is there adequate room to make a new connection?

I don't know for certain on your RV ; but the industry standard city water connector is threaded to the RV plumbing .

You may require a new cone washer .

I replaced the city water inlet on my '19 TR 23DBS a couple of years ago when the check valve failed. Depending on where the plumbing is located inside it is a fairly simple process. In the 23DBS the inside access to the fixture is behind an access panel under the bathroom sink. On the 24RKS I think the city water inlet comes in under the kitchen sink. As Skip426 recommends - I would change the cone washer while you have it apart.

Here are a few pictures from my replacement to give you an idea:

Thanks you both for your info. It is always nice to know what is on the other side of the wall before you start.
