This is the last year for us in BC ( British Columbia) for daylight saving time.
The BC provincial government is passing legislation to permanently change it to standard time forever. We don’t require federal government approval.
Understand in the USA it takes an Act of Congress to change it.

States can choose to stay on standard time, like Arizona and Hawaii have.
It would require Congress to make a change to federal law to allow states to choose to stay on daylight time however. My home state of Washington, along with a handful of others, have passed state legislation to stay on daylight time year-round if/when it is able.

It's 4:18 am, my time and here I am on the internet because my body still thinks it is 518 am, my usual time for getting up. Ugh, I'm so done with this BS.

If we go on Daylight Savings time permanently, doesn't it then become Standard time?

My mother told me many years ago that she set her alarm to get up and change it at 2:00. This was many years ago before our phones and other devices self-adjusted, so I told her to get up tomorrow morning and call time service and set her clocks.
Bless her heart. Lord I miss that lady

Thanks Ricks.... I too was/am confused.
The OP is sort of correct...time is time...and as I get older I am running short of it.
Thanks bud
