Discount to MSRP?
I have been looking at various ORV models for awhile, and am inching my way closer to making a purchase. For those of you who have recently purchased an ORV trailer, what kind of discount to MSRP were you able to negotiate, and were you a cash buyer or did the dealer provide financing?
Thanks!

Discounts from MSRP will vary considerably depending on the trailer model, demand and dealer supplies. Most models are often preordered because ORV only builds a limited number of each model. Most ORV dealers are able to sell with very little discount. Keep us posted on what you find.

There's about 50 new ORV trailers (TT's) for sale between Apache, Lassen, Thompson RV. JMO but sales have slowed. Problem with the MSRP is it's different between all 3 of those dealers so the final price is tougher to determine. I'd ask for 30% off and go from there. This is also peak buying time so dealers may not be as eager to sell low yet. It wasn't long ago that Apache had two 2022 TRX units for sale discounted pretty good. If you're not in a hurry I'd wait until Sept.
FWIW I financed my current ORV. Rates are too high right now for me to want to think about financing another one. And the prices of the 2023's compared to my 2019 are way out of whack. I can't even by the smallest ORV for what I paid for my 2019 25RDS.
If I were looking to get one now it would be a lightly used 2022 model.

We are in the market but waiting out interest rates and prices. Truck and trailer prices are still too high even with 15k off msrp. Although if ORV actually had a modern looking interior we would buy tomorrow.

I'm with you on that. My wife's only hesitation with ORV is their dated interiors.

My local dealer (Holiday RV in Poncha Springs, CO) has 52 ORV units currently available. I would say the supply crunch has passed.

The more units in stock usually means greater discounts.

Watch the latest rv industry update from John the RV Nerd on YouTube. Should be some deals happening, I've never heard him admit the industry is in free fall before.

Are you asking Mountain series or Titanium Series? I ordered a Titanium Series. MSRP is $97k for mountain series with no options. Titanium series with all ordered options, MSRP is $117k according to pricing sheet from ORV. I am saving around $32k.

We took ownership of a 2022 28BKS last November 28th. The 23s were on the lot so we got about a 15,000 dollar discount. My wife then stated she didn't want the couch, tv and mattresses and got about 1,400 for them. When the salesman got an ok from the owner on that. She added, I would like the orange chocks too. I think the salesman agreed, just to get her out of the office. She was pleased with herself.
Our choice is based on the fact that we need two bedrooms. Most who have been married as long as we have will understand that. We also have never purchased new.
We did pay cash and did not get a discount for that. The salesman explained that dealers get "incentives" for sending customers to the lenders. We haven't paid a penny of interest in over 25 years.
Side note: I will post the QC issues when I get time. It's a long list. It's an RV and I new there would be QC issues, but not that many. Of course all the boxes were checked on the QC inspection sheet. LIES!

$71.5k seems about right for Mountain series all things considered.

I picked up my 24TRX back in February for $56k before adding in dealer extras. I am content with the purchase price.
It was new, not used.
