Drawer strength
I see that ORV is very proud of the drawer slides, 100 pounds as I recall. But what weight will the drawers actually support? I just don't see them holding up to much weight on a washboard freeway. Maybe I am wrong. any advice or suggestions .

Unless their drawers are built way better than any I've ever had, the bottom will fall out first.

Yeah........that's really about how good the drawer guides are. The drawers are better than most. We load em up pretty good but nothing like 100 pounds.

We put anything really heavy behind the drawers. That said, 2021 and we are starting to have trouble with one of them. Haven't had a chance to look at it, but it seems to be catching somewhere.

From 1st hand experience you can't put 3 lodge cast iron skillets ranging in size from around 8"-12" in the drawer under the stove in a 25RDS. The drawer didn't break but the bottom sagged enough over time (5 seasons and 17,000+ miles) that the bottom started rubbing on the drawer catch.
Of all the stuff in my 25RDS that could break the cabinets and valances have been perfect. They may not be aligned perfectly but they're pretty solidly built.
Went to an RV show a month or so ago. It was amazing that some brands use what looks like 5/16" ply for drawer slides. 3/8" in most.

Looking at my new '25 21RBS Titanium the build quality is much better than my '14 250RDSW was. I might need some misc corner braces on some drawers if they get loaded heavy. IMO, the real issues with these new TT's are more the techno end. 12V fridge, solar systems, auto levelers, stereo system with a remote with more buttons than ever. The remote for my slide and awning has a password really and I don't know what it is. I just need to spend some time playing with stuff like the auto level more.

If you've never used your slide / awning remote, try using 1956 for the password. I lost my remote a few years ago, and had to program the new one to work with the receiver.

If you have the Lippert remote, here are the instructions for resetting the PIN:
1. Press the silver "home" button on the remote to turn it on.
2. Press and release "home" 5 times rapidly.
3. Press "Config".
4. The screen will ask if you want to reset the screen lock PIN. Press "Yes".
5. The screen will notify you that the pin has been reset.
6. Press the silver "Home" button and touch "Set Pin".
7. Enter the 4-digit PIN of your choice.
8. Press "Save".

I used 1234 and wrote it on the back. I see there is a bead of glue on the bottom for the sides and bottom. I might add some for the corners. The freeway washboard and truck pot holes are a killer.

We were a Fleetwood dealer. When customers complained, I put a bead of silicone on the top and bottom of the drawer bottom. I found that most of the time the drawer bottom pushed through and fell out.

I've not had any issues with my drawers......well except for the time I forgot to shut the one next to the slide but we won't talk about that!
I'm a bit anal about how I load my trailer; I put really heavy stuff (water bottles, canned goods, cast iron pan) in the cabinet next to my fridge, directly on the floor. I avoid anything heavy up high; those cabinets all get light stuff like plastic containers, bread, cereal, etc. The drawers end up with the "in between" stuff....heaviest is probably the drawer with our utensils in it but I use a tray that keeps most of the stuff off the bottom of the drawer.
2 cents,
Dave

Supporting a static 100# load and supporting 100# under very active conditions are two very different critters. Not only does the active condition stress everything, if the drawer stays closed it is likely to survive. However, if the drawer opens, all bets are off.
Back in 2009, the wife & I spent over a month driving 3,000 miles of the Haul Roads north of the Arctic Circle. Our RV was a 2009 Arctic Fox 29V travel trailer; other than lifting it 6.5" and mounting larger tires on Alcoa forged wheels, it was largely box-stock. FYI, lifting it another 2" would have been better - that might say something about the conditions we encountered.
What about the drawers, you ask? Well, almost all of them passed with flying colors. The exception was the one drawer heavily loaded with books. It came open one day and the drawer glides folded under the weight.
The rest of the trailer made the trip unscathed, however the Chevy HD K2500 was a wreck; the Duramax turbo had major issues, EGTs were through the roof, the Allison overheated pulling the 20+% grades, one of the new Bilstein shocks broke, the super heavy duty Pullrite 2000 hitch required welding, twice. Oh, and it never did get clean.
