Has anyone come across a way to carry additional propane tanks using the trailer receiver hitch? I need to get 2 extra 40lb propane tanks to elk camp for the kitchen and community tent and don’t want to put them in my truck bed. Thanks for the help!

I would put my trailer in my signature but I haven’t picked it up yet.

2 milk crates
Place 40# cylinder in each crate
Strap crate/cylinder to truck bed anchor points

Safer location then on REAR of trailer

Ever travel behind a trailer with one of those hitch platforms and stuff on it?
Scary....so much so I refuse to be behind them

I'm also aware of this Tailgater Propane Tank Tie Down Strap Pick Up Trucks and have been considering an order as my tie down points are not available at times.
