Hey all,

Thought I'd crowd source some production info. Who's rigs are showing up right now and what did you order?

I'll chime in. I've got a Back Country 24KRS on order. According to the factory it won't go into production till late August/September. When I first ordered a 24 RKS, it was thought the production would be in Feb/March. Don't know if that changed since I cancelled and reordered.

thanks. I get the feeling no one is getting their units right now? Wondering if units are in trickle mode. I'll give the factory a buzz next week and see what they have to say.

We’ve had a 280KVS TS on order since September of 2020. Build was supposed to be Feb. 2021. Then it was supposed to be December 2021. Then it was supposed to be January 2022. Then it was supposed to be February 2022. Now, we’re told most likely March!

We were told ORV was changing their production schedule to make it more efficient and that when they started a model run, that model would be completed. So we were extremely happy to see the 250 and 260 Black Stones coming... then they switched to 5th wheels. No 270 or 280’s

At this point, the most popular model of Timber Ridge still isn’t out (25RDS) It’s starting to look like there’s another supply issue at ORV causing a block. Anyone local see a ton of trailers sitting on the ORV lot?

we have a 28bks Titanium on order. we were told it would be built at the end of Feb or early march. Sounds like everyone thinks their unit will be built the end of Feb or March

Can't go the summer without a unit, so will contact ORV this coming week and see what they have to say. If we aren't getting it, we will find something on the used market that is non ORV.

We have a Nucamp 400 teardrop on order. Should be here around March or April. Pulling with a mid size SUV.

I have a 29TRX on order and they have told me several times recently that the production schedule for these will be April through July. If anything changes I'll update ya'll.

I have the same unit on order. My dealer said builds would start either the beginning or end of March (when I ordered it last year). Asked him for any updates on build schedule last week and now saying end of March into April.

From what I’ve seen with ORV since their production schedule change, smaller units (for a model....Timber Ridge)are built first. I’m still seeing some 23’s trickling out. When we start seeing 25RDS’s coming out plan on those being a ton of rigs. When the Titanium’s are out for the 25RDS, they’re getting nearer the end of that run. If I’m seeing this, above, in February or March, then my build is looking like summer... and I’m not going that far. Plan B will be getting executed pretty quick

Already went with a plan B. While waiting on the ORV, we picked up a 2021 KZ Connect 22RBS. Used it one time before winterizing. I've got 3 trips planned in the spring for over 8000 miles. When those are done, will decide whether to keep it or keep the ORV order. I would prefer the ORV, but if the ORV keeps going up in price, it doesn't look to good. I'm near my limit of what I can unrealistically justify. After all the KZ was half the price of the ORV.

I just did a non-scientific study cross referencing ORV's model line up and Thompson's RV video releases for each model. IF ORV continues with this order, all of Timber Ridge's have been built with the exception of the 28 BKS. Earlier I was thinking that the 25 RDS would be coming soon, but they've already had a run in this cycle. Once the 28 BKS is done, going from past videos, the Blackstone 280 models are next...RKS first then KVS. The 250 and 260 Blackstone's have all ready been completed.

Good plan. We thought about doing the same thing with a smaller rig, but we kept getting the "it's going to be built in 2 months" BS

Hmm, very interesting. That would mean our 28 BKS is indeed close on the schedule perhaps! That would be good news for sure. Having it by spring break would be awesome.
