Furrion camera for security

With the Titanium I got a nice Furrion camera system for sides and rear. I can energize the cameras using the trailer lights plug and a +12V wire at the tongue. If It all works all I have to do is add a front facing camera for the truck. Has anyone tried this?

Not yet, we just got a 2019 Jayco, and concerned while travelling. More we hear about vandalism and robberies, the more I'm glad I'm both a combat vet and a LEO veteran.
If you use any kind of Pepper Spray, Always remember, NEVER USE IT in ANY enclosed space. your regret Will Linger!
Also, remember every drain on your electric has unintended consequences-low battery on a cold (-20) morning is a Bad Thing. (Ft Wainwright, Alaska,91-94)
coldest we saw was -77.

Yes, I did exactly what you described on our 19mks creekside. I bought an extra furrion camera and synced it to the monitor that came with the camper. I created a little pigtail with a plug that hangs out of my battery box and connects to the pos and neg of the battery. I connected the other half of the plug to the camera power lead. I made a small wooden adapter plate for the camera that receives the camera on one side, and a suction cup on the other. At night, if we're overnighting in a cracker barrel or a harvest host, I attach the suction cup camera to the top of the plastic molding on front of trailer, and plug it into the pigtail for power. Inside the trailer, I plug the monitor into the 12 volt outlet. And thus I can always see what's going on at the truck. The camera has a motion sensor and turns the monitor on automatically if it senses something. It's very reassuring, if I hear something at night, to be able to look forward at the truck and see it. All the parts were available on Amazon. I can help with photos and details if you're interested. It works great. I use it whatever I'm nervous about where we park.
