Furrion is literally the cheapest crap of the crap. It is an insult to crap to call it crap. Also the speakers tend to fit into that category as well. So even if you get it to work it sounds awful.
New head units are so inexpensive these days. I just added very nice one that has wireless carplay everything I could want.
What's a DVD ?

Thanks for the info on the replacement for the Furrion player. Does the Kenwood you installed compatible with an ipod?

Is it even possible to be junkier than Jensen?
ever heard of “tape2usb”?
I still have a few hundred c90 cassettes I recorded back in the day on very nice analog equipment. I’m gonna take the little tape player with us and connected via usb to the stereo.
Considering the junk factor of the Jensen speakers, the crappy frequency response of the tape player won’t be noticed

I agree the player is hard to use. Our player usually takes loading and unloading a DVD a couple of times before it plays even when you have it set correctly to play a DVD. The first time that I used it I couldn't figure it out. Then I tried another disc and it played fine. Popped the first disc back in and then it played fine also. Now when it won't play I just keep reloading it until it plays. Usually takes 1 or 2 tries. The speakers are OK at best.
So a 12v car player with DVD or better yet bluray would be great. Who else makes a 12v TV that is better? We camp remote so 12v is a must.

Do you loose some capacity by using a inverter? In other words, if a 12v TV could run for 10hrs would an inverter be able to run 120v TV for the same amount of time? Or is something lost in the inverter prosses?

John, yes, an inverter has a power consumption rating of its own even if nothing is being powered. Our Jensen 12v TV is obviously not as good as our Samsung at home, but we're not in the trailer to watch high-def TV. It's actually not bad to watch a movie on a rainy day. The sound quality is the real weakness, but a soundbar will solve that problem.

The Jensen 12V TV draws 65W according to the owners manual.
A typical 32" LED TV uses on average 29.5W.
An inverter needs about 8-10% of it's power load to run what it's powering.
So for a 29.5W LED TV it will need 2.36-2.95A. 2.65 average.
The LED TV needs 2.45A so you need about 5.5A to run the inverter and a 32" 120v tv.
For the Jensen you'd need 5.4. Basically a wash.

Totally agree. That would be awesome if ORV provided a high-end LED TV, and an inverter, but unfortunately, they don't. Cumminsfan, do you know if a 40" will fit in the 25RDS? I'm not sure why ORV uses 32" in the 25RDS and 40" in others. We are waiting on our new 25RDS so don't have a perspective on the available area.

Yes a 40" will fit but it sticks out past the counter. I see ORV got rid of the round wall at the TV. We have a 40" in our 2019 25RDS and it sticks out past the counter and looks a little goofy with the round wall. It would look fine with the 90* corner they now make there.
