Yes, it will, but... we had to unplug the hdme cable from our tv before it would play cds, but since we don't use our tv that was no loss. Replacing the furrion is on my list.

Wow, others have issues with this system too.
Every time we want to play a DVD, it's a challenge. Out comes the book, two remotes, ete, etc. After several attempts, we usually get to watch the show, then afterwards, it's a trial to get back to the TV.
To answer the question about sound out the on board speakers--we only get that when the DVD plays. Maybe others on here can help.

I think I've only used my Furrion in my 25RDS about 5 times in the last 3 years. Best thing I ever did was install a sound bar above the TV with a remote sub that sits under the dinette table. I also bring a cheap Blu-ray player to watch a movie or listen to CD's.
Not only is the Furrion junk so are the speakers in the ceiling.
I can play music from my phone via the BT setting on the sound bar and I also have it hooked up to my Dish receiver.
Sound bars are cheap and make listening to music or watching movies so much nicer.

Furrion go bye was one of the 1st mods I made to our 24RLS, I replaced it with a head unit that had been in my old truck.
Kenwood DDX9606 unit- CD/DVD, BT, AM/FM and MP3 capabilities.
That along with upgrading the horrible factory Jensen tin can speakers inside and out yielded a functional entertainment system.
We like listening to clear music when we are chilling outside and enjoy watching a movie now and then especially if the weather goes funky on us.

I for one would've been completely fine with paying a little more up front to have a better unit and speakers.
Anyone also agree?
Same goes for the Furrion TV. Mine has a bright bar showing across the bottom of the screen.
Install some electronics better than Craptronic brand.

Ditto here. Part of the problem for me is that I seldom watch the TV (which is a good thing) so I have to re-learn the darn thing each time. After reading Cumminsfan’s post I’m thinking of doing the same.

I am not a fan of that system. 2 remotes really?? I find if I push enough buttons I can get it to work.

Didn't know there was an option as to AV systems. Not familiar with Furrion as we have the Jenson setup. Took me a year to figure out what the Jenson could do (the manual was really not detailed). Now, DW and I are very happy with the system. Can play TV and stream music through the iphone. Found a dongle that connects iphone through HDMI for TV and Bluetooth streams audio to the Jensen. Sound is clear through the speakers.

After reading the comments here---I guess that I'm not as dense as I thought when using the DVD player. I also found it took two remotes and the book to watch a video.

Mine was wired improperly from the factory. After pulling it out of the wall checking owner manuals on both tv and stereo I plugged everything in where it was supposed to be . Now it works fine.

If your Android phone supports video/audio out of the USB port you can buy an inexpensive USB-to-HDMI adapter. For example: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Aluminu...s%2C178&sr=1-3
