This is more of an FYI since I just went through an ordeal to get mine fixed and I hope this may assist anyone else going through the same thing. Long story short. My generator (onan 4k) in my 27TRX was not operational since day one. After diagnosing over the phone with my dealer, ORV, and Cummins, ORV informed me that they have had a rash of new RV having the fuel lines swapped inside the generator. I traced these with technicians on the phone with me and mine appeared to be run properly. I finally was able to locate a semi-local authorized cummins shop to look at the generator. Turns out the lines were swapped but not inside the generator but under the actual RV itself.
Pro tip: If your new trailers generator won't start without the use of started fluid make sure you trace the fuel lines fully under the RV. ORV told me there was a bunch of people with similar issue but not in the spot they described.

Yes I had the same problem. Mobile Rv Tech tried to prime system and see if fuel came out the bottom of carburetor bowl - nothing. After doing a complete inspection Multiple problems. Generator had crossed fuel and breather lines ORV allowed repairs locally as I had a bad taste regarding dealer who assured me a complete PDI had been done - NOT.
I still prefer the 24 TRX over others but quality control needs to be enforced at the factory and dealers made to perform a quality PDI.

Yeah that is the part that kills me. The dealership swore to us that they had the generator running. Dealership we used is 1300mi away so we went scrambling to find someone.
