I'll never forget the friendly "talk" I recieved from a Canadian border guard about Americans and their guns. I've never enjoyed getting lumped in with something the guard was very upset about, but he was so respectful and fun about it that I wish it would happen again!
Saw fireworks here at Coeur d’Alene Blackwell RV Park last evening. Talked to the Canadians who had set them off (they had permission) and wished them happy Canada Day!! We were in Winnipeg last week where my father-in-law was born in 1915 and found his birth home (still original). My wife and I memorized “Oh Canada” several years ago when our Inland Master Chorale sang both national anthems to open the game between our Galaxy soccer team and a Canadian team. Now we sing for our Canadian friends whenever we give them a call.
