Inital issues with new ORV
We understand the build quality of ORV RVs tends to be good. My question is how many and what kind of problems did you need to have fixed under warranty?

On my 2020 21RBS I had to screw the furnace plenum plate back on (missing screw) and I replaced a missing screw on my cable connection.
On my 2022 25RDS I had to tighten the hot water connection to the kitchen faucett as it was dripping and I had to refasten (and added a bracket) to the dinette blind which had come loose on a rough road.
Neither trailer needed to go back to the dealer for any warranty work.
Cheers,
Dave

2019 25RDS
New slide floor.
Slide window leak.
Drawer guides under dinette reworked.
Staple under vinyl flooring sticking up.
12V/USB port under TV pulled out from lack of screw connection.
Slide facia was installed like a parallelogram meaning the slide was built that way
Bulge at the roof edge near the front of the awning.
Items that didn't get fixed but are not right.
Gutter on the street side dips down in the center allowing rain water to pool up and flood out over the corner of the slide out.
Misaligned plugins, light switches and cabinet doors.
Stove installed out of level which means the counters are level.
Would I buy another? No
Would I recommend one? Yes with a warning. Hope for the best plan for the worst.

2019 250RDS
Dealer repairs after initial shakeout trip
Fireplace melted radio > dealer replaced radio and repositioned
Stove top glass crooked and touching counter > dealer adjusted, owner added rubber bumpers to front to reduce chance of breakage
Main slide out mis-aligned > dealer adjusted
Awning leak > dealer re-caulked
Wardrobe pushout trim piece > dealer attempted fix but failed. Owner repositioned, glued and nailed
Owner repaired later
Refer door opening while travelling > adjusted left side screws, added Velcro safety strap
Hot water igniter intermittent > Pinched spade clip
Center Awning support > Replaced lag bolt with through bolt+nut+washer
Kitchen cabinet screws stripped > Toothpick and wood glue to fix
Spare tire bracket excessive bouncing > installed wood shims
Water tank vent hose kinked > shortened vent hose - could have resulted in damaged water tank during filling
Leaky shower enclosure > added silicone caulk
Slow shower drain > added block to prop up P trap under shower pan
Leaky propane tank pigtails > replaced
Window valance fell off > screws missed wall stud so adjusted
Suspension wet bolts won't take grease > rotated bolts to correct orientation to accept grease
~50% of above items were due to poor assembly quality and lack of QC by ORV, others were design weaknesses or appliance manufacturer issues.
We have not had any electrical problems so far.
Buying any RV is a crapshoot...

Dealer did a 6month warranty make over on a bunch of small things. New door lock, propane regulator, shower caulking etc. I have been through the trailer tightening pretty much every piece of hardware and drawer guides. Had to reattach the valences above all the windows. and added a couple L brackets to the big valence over the dinette window. I must say, this stuff is not that big a deal to me considering the amount of movement that the RV endures on the long road trips we do. I suspect if I was to put a camera back there to record what goes on while towing, it would be crazy to watch. This is our 3rd trailer we have owned, and we are very happy with it. I like the build quality of it, even though maintenance has to be done, which I consider SOP. ORV I've been told, has been doing better on their QC after covid and is trying to respond better to owners. They have been good to me when I called them. We did the factory tour and learned a lot about how the trailer is built and liked what we saw. In closing I think they are great trailers.

We have a 2019 24RLS that we purchased new. After having 3 truck campers through the years and a previous trailer (2016 Keystone Outback 22URB) I knew there would be things to deal with.
I will say we have been pleasantly impressed with our ORV. The only thing that has ever presented itself on the road was the kitchen window shade that they missed the anchor plate on. Easy $1.50 fix when we got home.
I think one thing that makes a big difference- “Camp” in your driveway for a few days before you take it out on the road- run all of your systems aggressively and give them a shakedown.
I discovered a couple minor issues that way- one was a 120v outlet that the light I had plugged into it would flicker- pulled the outlet and the line lead needed tightening at the outlet. That led me to checking every outlet and also the lugs on the converter.
I also found a drip in the kitchen drain- snugged it up and checked them all including the bathroom & shower.
When I replaced the Furrion Entertainment system with a Kenwood head unit I was a bit disappointed to see the low voltage crimp connectors were just done with standard pliers- ended up going through as much of the low voltage and control systems and replacing connectors.
No big deal that didn’t cost me anything other than an afternoon of time.
We have encountered a couple real minor things on the road but nothing that ever made me go “WTF ORV??”

Our rig needed a drawer face realigned, and a couple other small issues fixed. The entire job took under 1/2 hour.
Since then, all I've had fail is three axles and a water pump, which I can't blame on ORV.
I noticed an owner that responded before me, writing about his 2019 trailer. Sadly, his must have been built on a differant day than ours was, because our trailer has been pretty good for us.

Like I've said for years. You can have two identical brand model RV's sitting side by side on a dealers lot and chances are one will be great and the other will need warranty work.
There's is just no consistency in the RV world.
I would add that when we bought our ORV TT we sat down with the sales rep and he got out his list of 25RDS trailers sitting at ORV's factory and while there were several to choose from the one we chose had plenty of problems. Had I picked a different VIN# who knows what I would've got. Chances are it would've not had the issues we did.
Total bad luck of the draw in our case.

1/Campside booth seat made wrong. Drawer latch would not keep drawer closed. Had to modify to work.
2/Kitchen drawer face crooked.
3/Rear outside handrail was loose.
4/Shower door bottom rubber sweep somehow cut its self from a couple times use.
5/Gap around where low point drains stick thru the underbelly material. Which would allow cold or insects, mice in.
6/Gray tank latch on cover broke.
7/Shutoff for hot water heater tank difficult to get hand in to shut off/on for winterizing.
Do like TT, but wish there was more room between foot of mattress and bathroom wall.

You probably know this but the 250RDS differs only with the extra foot at the end of the bed and the wardrobe slide.....I considered it but decided the increase in OAL and loss of the window wasn't worth it and I didn't really want another slide.
cheers,
Dave

I wasn’t enthused about the 250RDS because the bedroom slide was a Swinteck Slide and want a shorter TT. I bought a 2023 25RDS because I didn’t want a 2024 because they went to the Swinteck Slide. Thanks

This is my 2nd ORV, 1st was a 2014 250RDSW with lots of little fit and finish issues. Now ia have a 2025 21RBS and it is much better. The fit and finish quality is great. But,, the fancy Titanium level bathroom shower hardware was stripped and floppy in the rear wall. I fixed it. One of the hinge in the kitchen overhead cabinet ws stripped. The fancy Titanium badges have bad streaks and will be replaced. I had the entire outside ceramic coated and it looks great, and will for several years. IMO,, ORV has really improved on their QC and fit and finish.
