Just brought a 20FQ home. First RV.

Hey everybody, I've been lurking around here for a little while now, happy to say I'm finally an owner.

I've been talking with a seller since late November about his 2015 Creekside 20FQ, this past weekend everything finally came together and I was able to make the 19 hour round trip to finalize the sale. I arrived at his house at midnight Friday, spent the night in the trailer, and was on the road home at noon Saturday.

The drive was uneventful, a great thing when crossing the Rocky Mountains in January! The ol' Dodge had no problem getting us home.

The trailer itself needs a thorough cleaning, but overall looks pretty good. It is already winterized, and was quite cold when I picked it up so there are a few things I wasn't able to go through/test as well as I would have liked, but what can you do?

It came with 2 composite fiberglass LP tanks, which I've never heard of, nor has my local RV store, still trying to find a place to get those re-certified, and my list of projects is growing quickly. Looking forward to some warmer weather so I can get to work.

Looking forward to spending more time here, and finding ways to spend money on yet another expensive hobby!

We have a 2015 20fq also. For us it is an ideal 2 person rig. Big enough for a walk around bed and a big back window in the dinette. Small enough to get just about everywhere we want to go. We've done a lot of mods to make it "week-of-boon-docking-worthy". We just love our rig. Have fun!

Thanks everyone. We are certainly looking forward to getting out.
I've read through about 40 of the 130 or so 'outdoors rv mods' thread, and I already have a 1.5 page list of things to do.
