Texax- here's a link to the one's I ordered. My skirt isn't flat so I'm not sure how well these are going to fit. Haven't installed them yet. https://www.amazon.com/Anndason-Blac...g%2C137&sr=1-5

I’m going to try them, but my skirt isn’t perfectly flat either. Thank you!

I put a pair of the kayak deck covers on today. The curved side does flex enough to allow them to fasten down flush. Much easier access to the dump handles now. I used the stainless sheet metal screws provided and the metal was thick enough to hold them without stripping.

Taking out carpet in slide 24RKS
Has anyone taken out the carpet in the slide?
How do you remove the carpet from the RV floor under the slide.
Thanks for your help!

Electrical System Upgrade 2022 Backcountry 28DBS
Here is stage 1 of my electrical system upgrade in a 2022 Backcountry 28DBS.
First I removed the under bed pull out drawers and installed a 600Ah 12 volt Battle Born LiFePO4 battery bank. I also installed a Victron BMV-712 battery monitor, Victron Lynx Distributor, Solar Disconnect, Battery Disconnect and fuses.
Second was the instillation of a Victron MultiPlus-II 3000/12 inverter charger. I installed this in the front storage compartment on a 3/4 inch sheet of plywood covered in carpet. To make enough clearance I had to move the MORryde sliding cargo tray a couple of inches closer to the door but there is plenty of room to make it fit.
Third was probably the most difficult part of the project, running the wiring to the breaker panel and battery monitor display/digital multi control. I wanted everything to look factory and installed these two displays next to the factory control panel. This was a lot of work but am very happy with the final result.
Finally was the addition of a Progressive industries EMS I installed between the shore power connection and transfer switch.
Stage 2 will be installing 5 more solar panels and a new Victron solar charge controller.

STMT, you planning to power the whole campground? Impressive work! Wish my DC skills were up to the task. I'm OK with AC but DC baffles me, beyond adding dashcams and such. I'm quite happy with what came on our 21RWS. I would like to ditch the Sometimescold and get a compressor fridge but I'm afraid I'll have to pay someone to do the inverter.

You can always put in a 12v compressor fridge, not having to worry about an inverter (if you do not want one).
Good luck and have fun!

You could do it, if you decide to. It's not that complex. I would bet you have room to pull a 12 volt circuit from your convertor to an inverter then wire from there to the fridge. The big issue would be for you to have enough electrical storage to meet your off grid needs, hence the 4 batteries.

I recently added an Intelligent RV Water Pump Controller (IRVWPC) to my 280KVS. Here's a link to a video showing my installation. So far I'm pretty impressed. My pump is quieter and provides more even water flow during low flow.

Just finished my off grid/boondocking capabilities for our 2021 280KVS. Converted to 4 105 AH Lion Energy lithium batteries. Added a Victron Multiplus II (since we're 50 amp), DC/DC charger, 900 Watts of solar (3 arrays of 3 panels each, wired series/parallel), 100/50 Victron solar controller, 30 amp Victron smart shunt, and Victron Cerbo GX. The Multiplus II and the DC to DC both live in the pass thru area, solar charge controller lives in the cabinet above the TV in the bedroom, and everything else lives in what ORV calls the hamper (which we found becomes a catchall seat so doesn't work well as a hamper you have to go into daily). A lot of people put everything under the bed, but we decided we'd lose too much storage to do that. Still need to build a frame around the Multiplus to give a 4" clearance, as required by Victron, from items stored in there.
