ORV/Torklift mod
Here is what got done yesterday. I modded the torklift bracket that the Black Rock has when you get the AC and the Microwave aka the "off grid power package".

It would also be very easy with the standard set up, too.

As far as your concern with the weight. My ORV came with a 2" receiver that is tied to the frame and its not attached to the bumper. Come on man give me some credit I have not added any extra weight to the bumper heck I reduce the weight as the factory tire holder bolted to the bumper.
good point on the license plate.
The other post about the possibility of theft it could be stolen just as easy as the other one but I also plan to have a cover made when I get my calmark rv cover made.

Since I'm of the age where computer skills came late in life, there's no photos. The trailer is Creekside 20FQ made in the spring of 2012. If yours is later, they're much improved.
- I've added three 12volt cigarette lighter plugs, one on my side of the bed for my CPAC, one beside the converter for the TV and one under the table for a computer.
- a dome light in the cargo bay.
-stinky slinky tube by the drain across the back.," 6" sewer pipe" with ends makes a roomy one.
-while I was installing the stinky slinky tube I made brackets for the black and grey water drains, instead of the flimsy hangers.
- installed a TV mount in the galley and one in the bedroom
-replaced the plastic medicine cabinet with a hardwood one, I had to,the plastic one broke.
- I made three drawers for three closet, turning it into a pantry.
-put a shelf and a door on the top of the closet.
-since I was making doors I used the set up to make three hardwood boards , two for towel racks (one more for the bathroom) and one for hooks in the bedroom.
-I opened up the bedside cabinet and added a door to access the pump.
- we changed the foams over to firm and made backrests.
-changed the shackle bolts over to wet ones
-added a leaf to the spring pack
-replaced the 3500# axels, one had bent, with 5200#s. that involved going underslung.
-with the axel change I went with 16" wheels and Michelin truck tires, now I at least can do the speed limit safely.
-with the 7" life I added a an anti sway bar to the front axel, now I can do the speed limit on rutted pavement.
-to fit #27 batteries I had to lift them out of the a frame well, this reguired moving the tanks forward. I made a lock for the batteries when I did that.
-resealed the joints with Proflex.
-replaced the thin aluminum checkerplate with 1/16" and reframed the nose under it.
On my to do list I
- a longer tongue, this short one severely limits maneuverability. I dented the checkerplate first time out jackknifing trying to get into a Forestry Rec Site
-a high output smart converter
- maybe solar panels and more batteries.

Great idea and setup...did you look at a wheel net strap instead of the single strap over the wheel The net appears to cover most of the top of the tire for better overall coverage. Great price too. Thanks again...good stuff. Your system looks slick.

Yeah I did look at the erickson one but i wanted the chocks so I figured I would start with that kit since it came with the straps and if I felt like it wasnt gonna do it get the wheel net. I like the one in the pic you show vs the erickson. I went on their website and wow custom fitted! I think im gonna do it and repurpose the straps that came with it. I posted this mod on the forum and man I got roasted about how unsafe it is. A member worrying about the webbing snapping because his did while he had a car strapped down on a trailer. If people could see how tight this is in person they would not worry. The only legit argument came the other day. If the tire was to lose air pressure dramatically it would not old tight. Not sure how that would happen but it would cause it to not stay on the rig, neither would the net version. I am going to get a calmark cover made for it to keep the sun from damaging the strap.
here is the website to the pic that Lac shared.

Can you add a picture of the seat bar that you added. Also have you notice a difference in towing with the added sway bar to the front axle?

No, computers are not in my skill set. Welding is. But I can describe it. It's a 1"diameter, 48" wide U. The sides are 16" long. It came off the front of a Dodge van. I used the bushings and legs the van. For the cross bar I used a 2"x2"x 1/4" square tube which I bolted on .
I also added a sway bar to the rear of our '08 Ram 3500. Between the two, the raised trailer now tows great.
