I ordered the Torklift model A8003, which is their 3 step model that fits a 27 1/2" opening. But if you go to their website it will give you instructions on how to select the proper model for your trailer. I bought my brand-new-in-the-box set on Ebay for a bit cheaper than the dealers were asking at the time.

Our Backcountry definitely needed a 4 step. Easiest advice is to measure the height of your door threshold above the ground and divide by 7. Round up to the nearest whole number and subtract 1 to give you the number of steps.
I slacked the hinge tension today and the steps fold and unfold much easier. But what's up with their advice to loosen a nut 1/16-1/8"? That's crazy!

The directional antenna for the 25' telescoping pole finally showed up today. While a bit wet out it wasn't raining so I was able to get the antenna mounted and see how it looks with the pole fully extended. Still waiting for the back-ordered VHB adhesive bracket to complete the pole installation though. Hopefully that shows up soon.

Wiring help
I have a 2018 GP 26rls, I’m going to swap out 6 puck lights for larger ones with higher lumens. I also want to replace the switch with a dimmer switch. The existing switch only has two wires going to it and the dimmer has three. I’m electronic illiterate any help would be appreciated. I won’t be able to respond until this evening. Thanks for any help.

Check out my YouTube videos where I did this in our 280KVS. You'll probably need to locate the ground wire since it might not be at the switch's location.

Installed a Victron Smart Shunt. Aside from excellent battery management it's great entertainment switching loads on/off and watching the (instant) result on my tablet's display. No more guessing how much current that vent fan draws...

I installed the BMV 712 in my F26RLS. The Smartshunt wasn't out yet. IMHO, Victron makes a great battery monitor, and provides an exceptional amount of information .

Hook in ceiling
Has anyone installed a ceiling hook in their Outdoors RV? I've got a new 280kvs. I'd like to hang a some fruit baskets, like this https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071ZWQQX5/, from the ceiling. I thought I watched a video of the construction, aren't there 2x3 joists in the ceiling that I could screw into?

Just installed the rvair system in our 22fqs. They were great to work with. Very responsive and helpful. The longest part of the install was trying to get the ac bolts back in. We will see how well it works this summer.

I intend to add one to my system, it's ordered and on it's way. What is the range of the Bluetooth? Seems like the reviews were pretty inconsistent.

My Wind River 280RLS is 34' from bumper to hitch. When I'm sitting in my chair at the back of the trailer it is hit and miss, but if I take a couple steps towards the front it is solid. Would be nice to have a bit longer range but it's certainly not a big deal given the ease of installation (no wires to route through the trailer) and the wealth of information that it provides.

I use the BMV-712, and have no problems with range. I can drive by my trailer when it is in storage and check the batteries without getting out of my car. I can check from anywhere in my rig, and most places at my campsite.
I did not mount the little display. I coiled the wire and left it next to the shunt, and rely on the app for communication with the device. The display is not very easy to use.
