Been using the AC a few times this summer and the softstart has been awesome - can run the AC on 1 Honda 2200 generator!
Well, I did read some not so flattering reviews of the softstart which gave me pause, and I found the micro-air on marinepartssource.com for $237. So, there's that!
Install was a breeze and the five cycle set up took way less time that running it 30 minutes, so I am not sure what your arguement is there, but okay.
I've used the micro-air with our Honda 2200 gen multiple times since the July install and it works flawlessly, even on days north of 90 degrees. I can't talk about the easystart quality or install, only the reasons I went with Micro-air as stated above.
