New 25RTS
We've been looking at several different ORV floor plans over the last year and finally landed on a 25RTS. This one will work for us because it is the right size (for us anyway), we need a lot of room in the bathroom, and it has theater seating which we needed for mobility issues. I no longer have the leg strength for swivel rockers, but the theater seat works well. We did add some mods to be completed by the dealership to help with mobility issues also.
This floorplan seems like it will work for us, but I see very little in the way of comment from 25RST owners. I'm wondering if anyone here has some thoughts after owning one for a while?

I think it is a pretty new floorplan so not many owners yet. I like the layout. It has a much better set up for TV viewing than most of the rear lounge floorplans. Seems like a winner.

Looks nice. An option to the 25RDS and 18 inches shorter. Fridge in the slide. Nice open bathroom area.

Nothing like a big area to change clothes. When Grand Design came out with a similar floor plan we really liked it. I see other MFG's are now adapting some of GD's floor plans.

I noticed this was virtually the same except I think GD uses a U shaped dinette. I wish ORV still used the U shaped dinette rather tha s traditional one, but not an option.
The big difference is weight. If I remember correctly, this one weighs nearly 2000# more than the GD. Depending on your point of reference and use, this could be either good or bad. I wanted an ORV product for the HD build and back road capability.

Picked it up today.....had a few little issues, but mostly good to go. No pictures yet - I'm dead tired.

The Ram 1500 is a great TV but that is going to be a good load on it.

Ram did up the CCC's on the 2020 1500's as well as offer a longer bed length.
A CC with the 6.4 bed, 5.7 and 3.92 gears should be okay as long as the the OP doesn't load the TT to the gills.
Anything less than that and yeah it will be a load.
To the OP, congrats. The 25RTS is a really nice floor plan.

The OP has been towing for 30 years including a period of time driving transporters for big time auto racing teams so I am well aware of weights and limitations. I was originally going to tow a TT with my last 2500 gasser, but age is catching up and it became a real struggle to get up in the cab. On Dec 30, we purchased this new 1500 with air suspension to help with mobility issues. I also scaled back my TT thoughts from a 260RLS to a 24RLS and this 25RTS.
The 24RLS was my first choice because of weight, but again certain mobility issues dictated the 25RTS. I think it will serve us fine until we are no longer able to RV.
However, the fact that we are towing with the 1500, some compromises have to be made. We will not be able tow bring the house with us.....so to speak. I am carefully monitoring everything that goes in for weight. I will not be taking a lot of tools...just a few basic hand tools. We are cutting back on what we might normally take inside the trailer. We will not be towing with 80 gallons of fresh water. Every pound adds up. In the end, we should be between 8,000 and 8500 lbs and I am comfortable with that.
I also recognize the shortcomings of the 5.7. It will not pull the Ike at 65mph. I am fine with that....I understand how gas engines work and am content with the engine turning 4000 RPM on a long grade. It is the nature of the beast.
As we travel through our golden years we are happy to go a little slower and smell the rose's and this combination should be fine for us....others maybe not so much. I plan to enjoy the time we have left.
I promise that as time goes on to give a real world review of the truck and how it handles the trailer.
