OK, you know what a complete PDI is so do it and don't take it off the dealer lot till everything is fixed. Keep reading here to find the possible issues.

Congratulations on your ORV purchase and welcome to the forum! Like Highway 4x4 said, remaining active on the forum will alert you to issues as they come up, get you some answers to any specific questions you may have, and allow you to potentially help others, as well. This is a great group of people.
Even after a satisfactory PDI, I would remain in the area where your dealer is for a couple of days to shake down the new rig. Test EVERYTHING. As with any manufacturer, things may slip by the ORV team, and it's best to get them corrected while the sale is fresh in the mind of your dealer.
Best wishes for many happy camping adventures with your new rig!
Mary

Congrays on the new RV and WELCOME here. What dealer did you use? Let them know you are on IRV2.

Before you go to pick it up, have the dealer fill ALL the tanks with water, even black and grey to check for leaks. Have them start the fridge also and turn on the hot water heater. Before you leave check the PSI in alll the tires. If something is wrong, finish the deal after it's fixed.

Dropped by ORV yesterday for a couple issues. They have a massive amount of trailers sitting on their lot that they can't deliver because they can't get AC units among other items. I looked out over the lot and it was crazy seeing most all the trailers without a big black box on the roof.

Within the past week I read that boat manufacturers were having difficulty obtaining components, as well. Even though demand is steady, they've been unable to complete orders because of it.
If ORV is running into this problem, chances are that other RV manufacturers may be, too. It seems like it would be a topic worth discussing with a dealer and/or manufacturer for anyone planning to place an order for any brand of RV during these unprecedented times.

All MFG's use the same or some of the same components to build RV's. Every RV lot I drive by is mostly depleted or lacking normal inventory. Most all RV dealer web pages are listing units as sold, incoming or sale pending. More incoming units than ever from what I see. And this is at dealers that carry other brands besides ORV. It's an industry wide issue.
I'd sit tight for the winter and wait it out for an AC rather than settle for something you didn't really want in the 1st place or you would be in it now.

Slim supplies up here and units are selling like hotcakes.....three trailers we were looking at sold in the past two weeks. Delivery of new units is a grey area so we bought our 21rbs on saturday despite not being able to use it or even test it for the next 6 months.
Supply issues, price increases, high demand.....all possible in the spring.......or not; nobody knows
