Newbie questions on purchase

Greetings All,
I am a retired Director of MX from Corporate Aviation. Spent about 35 years crawling around on jets doing everything. We are looking for a TT in about the 25-28 foot range. I have a couple of prospective used (2016-2019) trailers that I want to look at. Is there a source for a downloadable checklist that covers the important point. I will be sure to look at the roof seams and edges closely for delamination or cracking. I will also check the inside for any water damage. I will bring a ladder to check the seals on the slide outs. I will do all the systems (water, drainage, electrical, entertainment etc) MX records/receipts. I will take a load meter to check battery condition, flashlight, mirror, plug polarity checker, multimeter. Is there a good moisture meter that you guys like?
What else?

Look for one that has been stored indoors when not in use, if possible

Pulled the trigger

Well we did it. Bought a 2018 25 RDS. Towed it back to CA, 6 hours, no problems. I will update my profile and search the forums for a few issues I need to take care of.

Congratulations on your new to you rig! Hopefully, the issues you mention researching are minor. Registration will be one of the first things. AAA can be a big help with registration of rv's purchased "out of state". When I did mine, Newhall DMV wanted to charge me sales tax on the trailer. They couldn't complete the process, so I went to Arleta DMV, who wanted to refund me an overpayment on sales tax!

Congratulations; the 25/250 RDS is my favorite "larger" ORV ( the 22FQS is my favorite smaller layout). I think you'll love it.

BTW I have 4 Cummins Rams, including one 2003 which has been my best truck ever.

Cheers,
Dave
