I called Thompson RV this morning and apprised them of the issue. We arrived there a little before 10:00 AM.
They promptly began troubleshooting and replaced one or two components. Around 3:30 PM they decided they weren't happy with the performance, so they replaced the entire refrigerator with a new N8XC that had recently been removed from another ORV when it was replaced with a 12V refrigerator upon delivery to the customer. We finally left the dealership a little after 5:00 PM.
Tonight we're at a Harvest Host about 90 miles west of Pendleton. The refrigerator is in propane mode so it can cool it down as much as possible before we retire and switch it to AC mode. We'll check it tomorrow morning and, hopefully, it will work as expected. If not, I'm not sure what we'll do.
More to follow...

Good luck. We just got back from a 4 day trip with daytime temps above 100 deg F and our N8X fridge worked flawlessly - ice cubes were rock hard and beer was very cold.....had it set on 4/5 and was running on propane. ....so they can work and hopefully your problems are behind you.

Thank you, Dave. I'll use your metrics as a baseline because rock hard cocktail ice and very cold beer are critical for mission success!
The replacement refrigerator appears to be working well. It registered 40 degrees F. yesterday morning after starting at 65 degrees Monday night; I think they forgot to switch it to LP mode before we left the dealership. Anyway, a 25 degree drop over nine-ish hours in AC mode seems pretty good. We're now hooked up in Bend for four days so it'll be a good long-term test.
