I hope they tested your slides for bad grounds before replacing the mechanism. That was the problem with ours on our first trip. Luckily it was retracted when it threw in the towel so we enjoyed the rest of our trip that way. It was like owning a 20BD instead of a 21RWS. No biggie.

Gammel, it's now a known problem and Lippert is in the process of recalling a lot of slides on certain ORV floor plans due to how the slide was built/designed on particular floorplans with the mechanism failing.
I just hope the fix is a fix! Time will tell....

I dout it was a bad ground. The motors were trying to run but the rear most end of the slide was just stuck. Was it a big deal......well yes and no. It is hard to enjoy a week long trip in a brand new trailer that is broken. On the other hand we were in a great area near the stream and it was good weather so we made the most of it. We did cut the trip 2 days short though because thunder storms were forecast the next couple of days and we didn't want to be stuck in the trailer. Not much space in a 24RKS IF YOU CANT USE THE SLIDE. Especially when you have 3 dogs on the trip!

A year in on my 22FQS. The paint absolutely sucks. I have rust everywhere. Frankly I could care less whether the steel is sourced in North America. Went through this weekend and added steel angle brackets to various drawers and the support for the stove which is made from sawdust.
They over promise and under deliver. Replaced the toilet valve as well.

I feel your pain.
They were probably getting low on paint with yours since my front A frame has thick paint runs on it. Good thing is it'll never rust.

We’re on are third outing and the ORV is performing well. My biggest complaint isn’t with the ORV but the third party venders that are widely used throughout the RV industry.
This is what we’ve had problems with or having problems with:
1.) NorCold Refer, Red light flashing. Some travel days it works perfectly done travel days the Red light comes on. ThompsonRV put a small shield near g toge flame in an attempt to keep wind from extinguishing the flame. I’ve still had the Red light come on 3-4 times since the shield was installed. So I’ll still keep watching while traveling.
2.) Microwave went out. ThompsonRV replaced, new one working great.
3.) Schwintek Slide quit working, ThompsonRV installed the upgrade kit that Lippert provided. So far so good, the slide problems solved.
4.) Oven/Cooktop: when the oven is in use you can’t use any of the three top burners. When you try to use the top burners only 1/4 of the circle will ignite and propane coming out the other 3/4 of the burner.
Oven off the the top burners work perfect.
So when we get back from our trip I’ll get that looked at.
I figure eventually all the bugs will be worked out.

I agree on the third party stuff though I've been lucky.
My 2020 21RBS;
- missing screw on furnace cover
- stripped screw on HWT flange
My 2022 25RDS;
- no issues so far after an almost complete season. I have done some pre-emptive mods including the fridge door reinforcement kit, added a bracket to the HWT support and added a wind screen on the fridge burner....

Here are some things to check with your fridge and stove/oven
Check your main lp regulator...mine wouldn't supply enough gas for multiple appliances. Replaced it with a much larger one from e trailer.
Also check to see if you have excessive oil in your lp tanks...from filling.
The regulator for the stove/oven is notorious for going bad as well.
Then pressure test.

Keodie, thanks for that information. I’ll do some checking once we get home.

The vast majority of his issues are 3rd party; almost nothing due to ORV. I don't buy the whole "covid build" crap; my 2022 has been flawless..better than my pre-covid ORV

I had many issues with my pre Covid 2019 ORV. Some ORV's fault and some not ORV's fault. IMO it's just the way the dice rolls.
Truth is I don't think ORV ASSEMBLES their trailers any better than most other brands.
