ORV water system schematics

Is it possible to get them? With ORV's new 'customer service'
I'm thinking the answer is no.

2020 ORV Owners Manual
https://www.outdoorsrvmfg.com/wp-con...anual_2020.pdf

Doubt they even have plumbing diagrams or electrical schematics as most trailers are 'as built' from generic plans

Basic RV Water System (nothing really special unless high end with Maniblock water dist header)

You are a font, sir. I don't get the city water tank fill line. I'm sure mine doesn't have that as the owner's manual cautions against over filling the fresh via the gravity feed for fear of over-pressurizing the tank!

I fear I'm looking at removing the plastic coating below as I need to know the actual order of things.

Some RV has Gravity Fill and FILL Valve
Some only have FILL Valve

FILL Valve allows suing city water connection to fill fresh water tank

Fresh water tank should have an Overflow that is 1/2" line that exits underside of RV and allows water to flow out to ground when tank is FULL
Venting is typically a small 3/8" - 1/4" tube that is part of the Gravity Fill connection...that is OK for day to day usage but Filling needs a mush larger diameter means of venting to keep up with the volume of water being added to tank

No overflow/pressurizing tank while filling............VERY POOR DESIGN

Look under the trailer for a 1/2" line that is vicinity of fresh water tank and has no valve on it....*not the 2 low point drains that are next to each other

You can tear the underbelly cover off but not going to resolve much

Water goes in thru City Water connection to Cold Water Line which then goes to each faucet/shower & toilet And to WH Tank cold inlet
Pump discharge connects to same cold water line

WH Tank Hot out then feds each faucet/shower

Just as depicted in diagram posted

ORV has generic schematics for their line of trailers.

Problem is you have to go thru a dealer to get them now.

At the factory tour last week we were told new process is to contact your dealer. Dealer should collect your information and the why. Dealer contacts ORV and they will email schematics.

The only reason the dealer needs to know the "why" of your need for the parts or schematics, is due to his loss of business due to us folks that repair things ourselves. We don't need no stinkin dealer!

This is not the way to win over customers in my opinion. ORV has become the Elkhart of the west coast.

Thanks y'all.

I fail to see how ORV is really improving their bottom line by cutting back on customer service. My theory is that they see the big companies ignoring their customers so it must work, right?
