Question: Water between Dual Pane Window
Has anyone had an issue with a failure of the thermal Windows, I had one get water between the panes. Waiting for the replacement. When I talked to ORV they kind of acted like if I brought it up there to fix, they would not be able to fix it till August....Really. We bought it new, and have had it less than three months. I hope ORV isn't changing in a bad way. Everyone says they have been great to work with.
.
I guess time will tell.

Call ORV and ask them where you can take it to get fixed. Any RV dealer or RV repair shop can do it. Is your buying dealer not near you?

Dealer is a couple hours away. We are dealing with it. I was just surprised at ORV not being able to get us In till August just to change out a window. Also if anyone has had a problem with the dual pane Windows. We are hoping to do lots of camping in this (retiring soon) some of it off-road. I am hoping to hear from others to find out if they have survived the test of time.

I have had two trailers with dual pane windows and both of them had the seals go bad. My fathers SunnyBrook has dual pane windows and three windows have broken seals. This is why I went with a Creekside, no extra BS to have deal with.

On the other hand, mine have been no trouble at all.
2.5 years and 25,000 km later.
And well worth it IMHO.

I think ORV increased the air gap (space between the panes of glass) in the thermal windows (more like in in a house) sometime in 2015. Our TT built in 2014 has about 1/8" airgap.

We've had no window problems with our WR with some pretty significant temperature changes to potentially stress the seals. We also had an Arctic Fox for about 3 years with no window issues (but a different type and brand of dual pane).

I think you got a bad one for sure, they don't usually go bad that quickly. I replaced 6 of them on my DP but that was after 8 years. Was told if it's just moisture it can be repaired but if it's water then it's done. Hope you can get it replaced soon!
