Thanks Lloyd.
As I posted elsewhere on iRV2.
Ron was an honorable man. Ron's legacy will live on in every product made by Northwood and Outdoors RV. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Ron and his wife Sherry at two early Northwood rallys. We are grateful we had the chance to personally thank him for the many days and miles one of his fine products allowed us to enjoy, 48 states over 9 years in a 2002 Arctic Fox 22G.
RIP Ron.

We are all getting older, so keep going as long as you can!
Sad to see someone that obviously had deep passion for RV'ing gone.
Happy Glamping.

I feel fortunate to have met both Ron and Sherry at a NROA rally back in 07. We had a 2005 22H and it was our first rally and we had a blast.
We also attended again in 2015 and Ron was driven through the site on Saturday AM just before the picnic. They did not stop, but he did wave at the people who were by the road - myself included.
In 07 Ron tried to meet with all of the owners at the rally - which was easy as I think we only had 20 or 30 units - in 2015 we had close to 75 units and took up half the park.
Ron will be missed both in the RV industry as well as the LaGrande area. However his legacy will live on in the ORV and Northwoods products.

It took guts and passion to buy a failed RV factory in the throes of a big recession and put together a subsidiary company giving a lot of good people good jobs making a quality product. Well done. We need more like him. He’ll be missed.
