If not what suspension upgrades have people been happy with, at least I’m considering a Equa-Flex, in in Alaska and most of our roads are fairly rough.
Broke a leaf spring and bent an axel on our 2016 22 BHS, so looking into what I could/should do for a suspension upgrade. Thank you.

Before adding anything that extends the hangers take a look at how much the frame/hangers flex in this video.... this isn't even a bad road.
I lifted our trailer by 6" by adding a steel beam and then installed Timbren STI axles.
We did more damage to the trailer after going 200 miles off road with the leaf springs than we've done driving another 1500 miles off road with the Trimben STI axles.
On one tip we hit a poorly laid cattle guard so hard that the 1/4" plates for the air bags IN THE TRUCK were bent but there was no damage to the trailer.
From what I've heard Mooryde is working on an new air suspension system.
