TV upgrade ORV 21RBS Titanium
MY 25 21RBS Titanium has a tiny 17 inch TV mounted on the bathroom wall that the slide must miss. Has anyone upgraded it to a 32 inch. Will the wall support a bigger heavier TV and will the slide out clear it? The mount needs to be lowered about 6 inches. The Furrion 12V TV works but will a quality 120V TV with a small inverter also work?

My 40" ROKU is 11.? lbs. I see no reason why you couldn't upgrade to a 32". A Viso 32" is 8.4 lbs depending on model. A Jensen 15" is 4 lbs and a 19" is 8.5 lbs so you're somewhere in between.
They all vary in weight but for the most part LED 120V TV's are super light.
No reason why you couldn't use a 100W inverter to run the TV. Most 32" LEDs use around 40-60W depending on brand. It would be best to research each TV to see for sure on weight and power draw.

My 32 inch Samsung takes about 45 watts. Looks like a cll to the factory is on the way tomorrow. What do you expect from a 25 ft $64000 trailer.

The Jensen 32 is 3+ thick and won't fit between the slide. Will a Samsung or other quality TV take the vibration on a RV?

Both of my 120v wall mounted Sammie’s (43”and 24”) have been running fine for 5 years. Just be sure to strap them down when moving.

I've used Samsungs in my trailers for over 15 years and never had a problem. Recently I switched to LGs with good results. When I boondock, I connect my current 27" LG to a 100w inverter and it works great.

I'll be getting a 32 inch Samsung and an inverter. there is a 120V plug right behind the TV. They are much clearer than the Jensens and only 1 inch thick. The backing in the wall is 2 sheets of 3/4 plywood and should be good for 25 pounds. The Samsung 32 weighs about 12.

2 sheets of 3/4" plywood? ....so 1 1/2" thick solid wood? Not even my house has that much backing for my 85" TV. Clearly something you added?

I called the ORV factory for that info. I have been there several times and know a few of them.

I'd love to see a pic; must be two small strips or something; no way they put two large pces of 3/4" plywood back to back for the TV support - cost and weight prohibitive, I'd think.

When I changed my Jensen 32" out to my 40" I had to move the mounting bracket.
I can't vouch for the dbl 3/4" ply but I can say that it's not a very big piece. IIRC it seems to be about 10"H. I know I didn't have much wiggle room when moving the bracket. I could see the 2 layers idea since the wall is 1.5" thick so the 2 layers would sandwich in between.

Thanks; yes 2 layers would fit but it's overkill and considering the rest of the trailer (and the interior walls in particular) are far from overkill, I remain skeptical that there are two doubled up pces of 3/4" plywood behind my TV mounts in my trailer....I'd be happy to be wrong though.

Good advice. When I swapped my old analog TV for a LED I didn't support it. After a couple years I noticed that the TV was tilted and found the rear plastic had cracked where the mount holes were. Had to reinforce the mount.
Next two TV's I added support on the bottom the mount isn't taking all the weight. Just got done installing a 43", used some brackets on the bottom to take most of the weight.

I'm confused (normal) situation. You're getting 120v tv, have a 120v outlet behind the tv. Yes? Why would you need an inverter?
