Two gray tanks
Hello:
I have two gray water tanks in our 2018 24 RKS. Inside, I have two gauges ….. one for Gray Tank 1, and one for Gray Tank 2.
How do I know which gauge corresponds to which tank? And when one gets full, does it flow into the other one?

On mine tamk one is in the front and tank two is in the back. They are not usualy connected together. My unit has a bath and a half.

The gauges line up perpendicular to the tanks, so there’s no way to tell for sure.

I believe in my 2022 RKS Tank 1 is for the kitchen and Tank 2 is for the bath room. You could also run some water down the kitchen sink and see what Tank starts to fill up on which gauge. I do not think they are hooked together. I know mine are not.

I had a 2007 Fleetwood Pioneer 24RKS TT. It had 1 grey, 1 black and 1 "galley" tank for just the kitchen sink. Worked out ok while I had it.

Specs list all waste tanks at 40 gals each
Waste tanks are not tied together....isolated by individual dump valves
Start filling using kitchen sink and see which level corresponds
(do not use bathroom sink/shower during test)

do you have two separate sewer hose connections for the two gray tanks? or do the drains merge before the sewer hose connection so that they use a common hose connection?
if they use a common hose connection you can buy an add-on gate valve that attaches to the sewer hose connection. valterra makes one. attach the add-on valve and open the two individual tank drains. this will connect the two tanks via their drain pipes. the add-on valve keeps the water in the drain pipes from flowing out the sewer hose connection.
we do this very effectively on our trailer with two gray tanks.

To answer your first question, find yourself a park with FHU and take a bunch of showers. You'll find out which is which.
