Victron 712

I have a victron 100/30 solar charge controller and have been able to learn to see how my batters are doing with just it. My question is Does the Victron 712 have any memory built in it? If the trailer set for a couple weeks will it show how many amp hours have been lost and how many were put in by solar? Looking to take some of the guesswork out of the process. What all can it do? I am new at this whole thing.

I have the 712 and a Victron MPPT controller. The 712 will give you much more granular data and will also give you limited history on your batteries.

There is a new version coming out next month that does not have the internal gauge and uses BT only. Mine has been in for well over a year and I never use the gauge as I can see so much information and all at one time so if I was starting again today I'd buy the version with the shunt only.

All in all it is a very good investment and I highly recommend one or the other.
