I have not had much success in searching for this topic for some reason. I have a couple if small tears in my vinyl flooring and I was wondering if anyone has a repair option that I can use. The tears are small, about 1/4".

The slide did a huge rip in my floor and the factory repaired it. Can't even see where it was.

Our slide tore a slice in our vinyl flooring right after we purchased it. Due to a screw came out of bottom of slide and gouged the floor.

I had ORV send me a 3X3 foot section of the flooring material and repaired it myself. Not hard to do, matching the pattern is the hard part and using the right flooring glue. Sharp razor cutter is good to use as well.

Can't see paying anyone to do this work.

yep, a screw on the bottom of the slide.

Is there any particular glue that I should use? I have small sections where the top layer pealed back a 1/4" or so that can be put back in place.

When we replaced the table leg posts(2 of them) with a new Taco Marine post(1 of them) we had all the holes in the floor. My bride found this stuff and it worked real well. It's been 2-3 years that we applied it and is holding up well. I trimmed up the screw holes and made it a point to "dent the holes down" after they were trimmed so we could level it out without having the edge of the linoleum in my way. In reality, I consider it high traffic under the table as my feet are there and moving around a lot. Also, you can't even see where the repairs were made.

I used a seam sealer to repair a seam that was pulling up on a sheet vinyl floor. It’s held up very well. This site may be helpful for your particular repair.

Good marine contact cement worked for me. Glue to avoid is stuff like Gorilla glue that expands as it dries.

Depending on where the tear is the vinyl may not be glued down. Not sure I'd want to glue down a filler piece and have the rest floating.
Sean sealer would be the best bet IMO as both the new and old piece would flex the same amount.

Thanks all for the information. We went glamping for four days and I could not even see the tear on the floor, so for now I might just leave it.
