When to de winterize ?????

Greetings one and all, Our units in winter mode at the moment. All water lines have RV anti freeze in them along with tanks.

We will be on the Road end of FEB. and will have to spend a couple of nights in cold areas(freezing temps), do I leave everything the way it is till first night at campground our should I dump all before going on road ?

It all depends on the weather at the time. The temps have to be in the 30's to be safe unless you have heated water bays. I travel in early January and do not put water in until I reach Southern Kentucky. And really there is no outside water available until then.

We usually do not travel south each year until after the coach has been winterized and seen sub zero Wisconsin temps.
We carry a few gal of water from home to make coffee and flush the toilet while moving south.
I never un-winterize until we are far enough south that the possibility of a hard freeze is gone.
Nights with below freezing temps accompanied by days in the 40's have never damaged my un-winterized coach.

I'd wait until you reach your destination until flushing the antifreeze out of the lines.

Add about 5 gallons of RV anti freeze to the fresh water tank to flush toilet(s) with. Use the showers at campgrounds. By a couple 24 packs of water to drink and make coffee with or fill some clean milk jugs and store them in the shower.
When you get to your destination drain and flush the fresh water tank and have a safe trip.
