Exclamation 1999 Rexhall Aerbus alarm??

hello, we just got a 99 Rexhall Aerbus and today an alarm started buzzing (sounds like the smoke detector but is not). we can not seem to figure what it is, where it is coming from and how to make it stop. Any suggestions??

Thank you.

Liquid propane gas detector, carbon monoxide detector? Turn off your propane tank valve and see if it stops.

Mine does the same thing, just "reset" the detector, it will "chrip" and go green.

I can't tell where the sound is coming from. So I don't even know where to find a reset button. I turned off the battery so it stopped, but as soon as I flip the battery switch on, it starts again. It sounds like it is coming from the lights above the isle fir the walkway by the pop out...

On our 1999 Aerbus, the propane gas detector is at the end of the "L" in the kitchen counter. If your kitchen layout is different, start looking for a small index card sized panel near the floor. The detector should be fairly close to the kitchen stove and/or furnace as they are the propane devices in the RV. The detector itself probably has a slide switch and indicator light on it.

Even if the propane detector isn't the source of your sound, you need to know where it is. If the propane detector is off, no propane will be available for the stove, frig or furnace. Since they are close to the floor they can be accidentally turned off by young grandchildren - at least in our Aerbus that proved to be the case!

Good luck! And let us know what you ultimately find.
