99 Rexhall American Clipper fuse identification

Hello Everyone!

New to the forum. Didn't even know a Rexhall owners forum existed!

I have a 99 Rexhall American Clipper. We have owned it for about 2.5 years. It has been great with only minor issues to fix here and there.

The chassis has a parasitic drain, which is intermittent. No big deal because I have my auxiliary power to start it. Well today, after only sitting for 3 weeks, the chassis battery was completely dead, which really surprised me. I hit the auxiliary switch and nothing. So now Im trying to diagnose that problem. I know how to test it and will have a meter on it tomorrow.

I need help in identifying the fuses on what I believe is the "battery control board". I had two blown fuses, a 10 amp and a 5 amp. Its my understanding that the isolation switch uses a 5amp fuse. I thought great, found the problem. But a new fuse did not have my rig running.

the 10 amp fuse blew every time I turn on the house batteries at the battery disconnect and this has me concerned because I have no idea what it is for. Searching online points to a "radio switch". Do any of you have a fuse schematic or know what a radio switch is?

Any tips on this auxiliary problem is appreciated also.

Thanks for reading.

Well, I solved the issue and solved another issue I didn't know about. Turned out to be a frayed wire.

The 10 amp fuse was for the Aux Battery switch, which had the frayed wire. The switch never stayed illuminated until I changed the 5amp fuse. I think this was the feature where the chassis would charge the coach batteries while running.

I was able to get the service manuals for the control center and the battery disconnect. If anyone needs them, just let me know.

Thanks
Mike
