HEHR Window cranks

Has anyone found a stash of these or maybe a replacement that works well and looks good?

Thanks Ray...gulp, $15.68 each..hmm, maybe I'll find a different handle. That's a bit steep, but I guess if they don't make them anymore that's why.

Thanks for pointing me there.

You might consider replacing the broken one with a wheel/knob.

I was wondering if they would work...so they do then? Same sized hole as the original?

Thanks again.

I think the knob and crank opener splined shafts are all the same size. When a website says the crank is 1", that pertains to length of crank/knob away from window.

There areround openers , and triangle openers (hard to find) Camping World seems to have lowest pricing. Alternate source.

Before I forget, here is the Hehr service manual.

Again, thank you very much for the input. Think I'll order a couple just to try them out!

I would be concerned that any other option other than the original cranks would stick out to far and not allow the day/night shade to close completely. Most of my original cranks have lost their handle spring. I have learned to live with it.

Yes, that's why I initially wanted to find the OEM parts but at $15 ea I thought I would at least try the knobs, which are scheduled to arrive today. If they do stick out too much I might also have some learning to do....

The problem I can see with the knobs vs OEM handles is I have arthritis in my thumbs (and hands) and ANYTIME I use the thumb, like turning a screwdriver or a knob, it's extremely painful. But I'll give them a try tonight and see how it goes.

Thanks for the feedback.
