I'm trying to remember our heater/def controls. I think they are similar to a Chrysler of about the same vintage as our RV (1989). RV Manufacturers, especially of older RVs, tended to use whatever parts they could get in bulk. So it is possible to have a Chevy Chassis, with Ford, Dodge, etc. parts because it was cheaper to buy parts than create their own.
Your dash might be easy to fix, or rather rebuild the panel. It looks flat.
If you have the tools, I'd carefully dismantle the dash, take the wood panel out and use it for a template and make a new one.
Ours is plastic and has "style".... a lot of bends and angles. So I have had to pretty much leave it alone.
Your cup holder looks like someone made one to match the dash, all of the ones I have seen have been oak, with an ashtray between the cup holders.
Most of the Rexhalls I have heard of, there might be a screw at the bottom of the dash both sides and a piano hinge along the top allowing you to hinge the dash upwards, easier to get to wiring and such. Not as familiar with the Vision, but would *assume* that Rexhalls are mostly all the same. If it does hinge upwards, it might give you a better look at what you are dealing with and how to fix it.
Looks small for a TV... what was in there?
