1999 Rexhall XL-3100, V-10, 22k

We only decided we'd get a RV a few weeks ago, our attention was drawn to the Rexhall since we knew we'd be buying used and we liked the floor plan and the way they are built. I tend to go all "information overload" and get all my facts and figures sorted out before I spend money on a vehicle of any type.
So I see it can easily be a real buying challenge..., but the wife sees this one on CL less than a couple of hours from Reno. Long story short, we buy it.
First time Motor Home owners. First time I've even driven one. Mostly fun, sometimes "exciting" coming home over I80 but it did great.
Hope the pictures uploaded, looking forward to being part of the iRV2 community.

Congratulations on the new RV. We just sold our almost identical Rexhall. Loved it but wanted more room. We had it for a bit more than 3 years and added 30,000 miles during that time. One trip from So Cal to Nova Scotia and two to the Midwest. Aside from replacing the black tank, it was pretty much trouble free. Hated to sell but it got a bit tight on those 3 and 4 month excursions. By the way, it had more than 101,000 miles on the Odometer when we sold it. Started every time without fail and never missed a beat. One check engine light during those 3 years. That cost us about $150.00. We looked for another Rexhall product but they're hard to find. Would have purchased a 2002 diesel but the title was clouded.

Good luck and welcoming to the wonderful world of motorhome RVing.

Congratulations on your new Rexhall. I cannot be sure but what model you have but does it have slides? We love our 2001 Rexair. I have been reconditioning the coach inside and outside and it looks marvelous. It has two slides and the floorplan is incredible. I haven't seen one better for that class and vintage of Class A. Good Luck...and happy RV'ing!!

Ours called out to us over evening libations after spending two days looking over dozens of rigs at 4 dealerships. Better half decided we would buy used first, and I took her back to the first rig that caught my eye at the first dealer.

She climbed the stairs, took a look, and said "this is the one".

How many points for northbound on I-15 thru the Las Vegas "spaghetti bowl" in mid day traffic?

Nice work!

12" bigger... flat screen envy setting in... why'd I stop at a 37"?

Did you leave the slide carpeted?

That's a cute little rig, I did not know Rexhall made them that small.

Welcome to the forum!

Rotting slide floor

My 2004 Rexaire slide floors are rotting/rusting under the bathroom and fridge.
I need some direction on finding a solution. Do I need to strip the inside or can I replace from the bottom of the slide? Definitely have some steel frame that is rusted through. Help

Hard to say without more detail. Step 1 is to figure out why, so your repair doesn't get destoryed.

Have any pictures that can give us a better idea what you're facing?
