Replacing or re-keying 2000 Rexair Storage Compartment Locks/Cylinders

Hi,

Love my T. REX, which has heavy duty locking mechanisms with small but (mechanism specific?) cylinders, all with ch751 keys:( Are these replaceable (by who/where??) or will I need to have all 10 re-keyed (*if* possible) to have secure storage compartments?!? TIA, C7

Pull a cylinder out and take it to a locksmith.

RV Locks have lock cylinders that they guarantee nobody in your area will have a key for.....

I bought mine from Amazon. Bought one set (8, I think) keyed-alike, one for each of the hatches.

Of course, a locksmith can do the whole thing if you want.

...about REXHALL REXAIR compartment lock cylinders? They don't look like the ones to which you've referred (which I did look at b4 posting). Thanks for responding; I may be wrong but if you have a *sure* link to a REXAIR compatible cylinder, please share

They are all the same on everything from about 1995 to 2006
Been rving since 1995 and have yet to lock a cargo door. What do you carry in the storage compartments that anybody would want to break in and steal? Do you live in a high crime area? (FYI) Rexhall complete units are different than all others. I had to buy one and are really hard to find.

...and nearly irreplaceable themselves. Mechanism-specific cylinders MUST be re-keyed (by a locksmith @ $15-20 each, no DIYS "kit" available) if you really care to secure your compartments from thieves and unwanted 'guests'.
