Shake down trip

Spent 3 weeks riding trails in Utah, BlueOx did great, the only glitch was the AC would shut down while climbing a hill and start again when hill was topped. Last trip for the Yamaha Rhino, now to setup the wrangler for towing.

It must be on a Ford chassis. Fords will shut down the dash AC if there is a big load on the engine to provide more power. My Class C Ford used to do that. Another thing is might do is, if you have it in cruise control, it will drop out in the same situation. Itís most likely normal.

Did the A/C shut down or start blowing out the defrost vents ?

If it went to defrost you may have a tiny vacuum leak.
