'97 Aerbus
I figured out how to load multiple pics. Here is our '97 Aerbus, F53, 460, tag and 60K miles. All polished up, polyglow, some new striping and some painted decals. We love everything about this Aerbus! Rides very quiet and smooth.

Rex2010,
Nice looking coach. I noticed the grill on the back, is the engine rear mounted or front?

Wow Rex2010! They have come a long way from my '97. Those double slides are crazy. It's a shame Rexhall doesn't make motorhomes any longer.

MartinP,
I think they put that grill there so they could do either front of rear engine. Mine is a front engine.

Hi handy hiker- Wow, that is quite the beast! I have never seen model that big with the rear door and 1 1/2 baths. Looks like it is in awesome shape too. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Nice!!! How heavy are you? How does the 460 do on the hills? My V10 screams up big hills but still goes 50mph. Nice coach...

Thanks Buddie. I believe it's about 18K give or take 1K. It moves along surprisingly well considering its age. It will go up moderate grades at about 40 mph, depending upon the altitude, otherwise it will cruise at 75 on the highway. We're in Colorado so higher altitudes. I expect that if it had the newer V10 it would do a little better. I know that after I changed the engine air filter and breather element, it made a very noticeable difference. It wasn't getting any air before. We drive it very little and when we do, it's usually pretty flat Along the front range. It mostly sits at a lake spot for the summer. We do love it!

Not real sure how to go about this, but I think it would be nice if this were a sticky so as more posts come it does not get lost. Any opinions?

Rex2010, how do you like the Banks system and what kind of performance and gas mileage increase do you get? Only ask because I've heard the Banks systems doesn't help the latest edition of the V10 as much as the earlier ones.
