Throttle Body Replaced
I have a 2007 Dolphin with 2006 Trinton V10 engine. Here is what happen in my travels in October 2021. Stopped at campground in SC, while getting to rv site, engine shuts down, started engine up move forward to correct stop, engine light came on. I called my rv shop in Fl explained my issue. He says, as long as it runs drive it! Wrong thing to say, should have taken rig to shop then. More driving, back home after 330 miles, engine stopped again. Was able to get to my sight. Next day finish our trip 65 miles. As I was about to enter my street, engine dies, took all my muscle (steering) to turn into my street. Was able to get to my drive. Set there for a week tried to start engine. It would only idle forward. Called tow truck. Towed rig to RV shop. Shop found problem, cracked Throttle Body, cost approx. $1200 repair cost. I was just lucky getting my rv home. When I lost engine running (power) lost power steering and mostly braking power gone. So if your engine stops running like that. It more than likely that is your problem, Bad Throttle Body.
